And just like that, it’s a new year.

A new year for a fresh start, new beginnings and 365 chances.

This New Years Eve was so much better than last year and I truly hope that it will only continue to go up from here.

I entered the new year with my little family of course. There is no one else I’d rather be doing life with than Idrus and Aleena (and future babies ;P). I also spent it with Idrus’ family too. His nieces and nephews flew from Canberra again and we had a family feast at my mother in laws place. We talked, made tik tok videos, devoured in delicious satays, prawns and pasteis de natas while playing a game of pool and uno until midnight. We had poppers, photo props, hats and sparkles and honestly, it was just a great night with positive vibes in the air.

I don’t like new year resolutions so much but I thought I’d share some intentions that I’d like to achieve for the new year. These are as follows but are not limited to spending less time on the phone and more time interacting with Aleena, continue to grow my instagram and youtube and start earning money this way but also maybe get back into the workforce a couple times a week as well. Hopefully save money and less spending so we can say goodbye to renting. Continue to try and be a good mum, wife and Muslim. Be more kind and empathetic to others and their feelings and being more patient. And of course, praying consistently inshaallah.

Happy New Year
