TIAGO KITCHEN | JOONDALUP

Can’t turn down a free breakfast

I don’t know what’s in the air but I have won two instagram competitions this year and I’m not complaining about it. The first one I won earlier in the year was $3000 to spend at the Ellery Sale in Claremont and the one I’ am discussing today is a free meal for two at Tiago Kitchen in Joondalup. Obviously I brought along Aleena and Idrus to enjoy a free brunch on a cloudy Saturday.

Upon approaching the cafe I was in absolute awe. The interior of Tiago Kitchen was goals. Simple and cozy! Vibrant green plants placed along the white walls on the left as you walk in, modern wooden stools with matte black legs, a combination of white and black ceiling lights and a cozy lounge filled with blankets and cushions for a pop of colour. Against the wall on the right also has a beautiful artwork of a women’s facial features and her hair, glistening in the wind.

Now on to the good stuff, what we ordered.

I ordered my regular cappuccino while Idrus opt for a Iced Mocha. I wanted to order a Iced Latte but it was a little chilly that late morning. We were offered an additional beverage each and was reccommended to try their tropical juice which was both delicious and refreshing. I can see this being a huge hit during Summer.

Idrus ordered the Vegetarian Big Breakfast which came with eggs, grilled halloumi, slow roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, wilted spinach, hash browns and toast while I went for the Avo Smash which came with five grain toast, poached eggs, danish feta and garnished with fresh chilli.

I was torn between the Pavlova Pancakes and Avo Smash (what’s new?) but it’s been a while since I had avo smash. I definitely want to come back again and try the pancakes though.

Their current menu is their Spring Menu so definitely head to Tiago Kitchen to try the selection before it’s too late.

As Idrus and I live on the South side of Perth, we did have to make a trip to Tiago Kitchen but it’s safe to say that it certainly was worth the drive.

If you just want to pop in for a coffee to go, they have a take-away window where you can place your order as you walk past. Unfortunately this is only open during the week from 7am to 9am and it also depends on the weather.

Thank you Tiago Kitchen for having me, I look forward to dining in again.
