Dancing with the bees
I’m a little late to the party but along with Autumn, Spring is also one of my favourite seasons. The weather is not too cold and not too hot and that is just the way I like it. However, we are already in the second month of Spring and I can really feel the heat rising. Summer is around the corner and you can bet your ass that I am dreading it.
Anyway, on a lighter note. Remember Stacy? The Melbourne babe that I met last year via an Instagram Pod? Well she just recently moved to Perth with her newly husband and I am certainly happy about it. We’ve already caught up a couple of times but we only recently caught up and had a photo-shoot session at Raeburn Orchards. Unfortunately, we were late to check out the flowers blossoming at Raeburns Orchards but luckily there were some flowers still shining under the brisky sun. Is that even a word?
Being in front of the camera was just as awkward as it was being behind the camera and to be honest… I think I enjoyed being behind the camera the most. I enjoyed capturing Stacy with her new slinky Canon camera and she just looked like a total natural since the last time I took her photos.
Now onto fashion. I kept it super laid back but I wore my lace scarf from The Muse Look to add a feminine touch. As a new mother, it’s ideal to dress comfortably and practical since I’ am also breastfeeding. Also, even though it’s Spring I’ am focusing more on preparing my wardrobe for Summer. So you can expect to spot me in oversized shirts which is what I’m currently into since being inspired by Samia from @sauf.etc.
The shirt I’m wearing today is by Fila which I purchased from the Fila Outlet shop in Watertown for only $20. The denim jacket is of course Idrus’ and I’m just wearing a black pair of leggings from Kmart. Leggings is all that fits me right now. (If you read that in a Regina George voice then you’re the real MVP). I tied the outfit with my chucks and my white metallic socks from COS.
Stay tuned for more lookbooks on the blog.
