Same, same…. but different!

Hey everyone and welcome to Grace & Coy’s new website where I will be sharing basically all the same things… Such as: Modest Fashion, Lifestyle and plenty of food experiences. The only difference is, I have a new domain and a whole new look. Don’t worry, I decided to keep my logo. For now.

I was going to announce my new website on the day of Grace & Coy’s first birthday but I’ am a very impatient person and could not wait to begin using my new domain.

Why the new change? Well, my previous website had a lot of corrupted features that weren’t getting fixed and I started to fall out of love with the design. Most of all, I wanted full control of my own site and can proudly say that I did it all by myself with the occasional assistance (with all the technical stuff) from Max who is the founder of Mockingbird Web Designs (website currently under maintenance). If you are a new blogger and looking into having a professional freelancer to design your space than I highly recommend Mockingbird Web Design. Max will not disappoint and is highly professional and talented. If you do decide to contact him, please mention my name and tell him I said hi.

Grace and Coy now has a new layout which is very different and I’m not going to lie, it did take me a lot of contemplating but rest assured I am very happy with how I have the layout plus the sidebar which allows me to provide more features and content. At least now, If I get sick of it – I can count on myself to update it to my leisure. For free!

I decided to not add a “Shop” page for my new website as I share all my items + favourite items in a posts anyway. Also, I hadn’t updated my Shop page in a long time so I thought.. “What’s the point?”

Oh, and the best part is… I finally have a comment section so I can engage with my readers more and you can share the love or ask any questions that you may have! Hooray! (This was one of the corrupted features on my previous website)

With a new blog, required new content so you may notice that I don’t have a lot of my previous posts. I was slowly copying and pasting my favourite posts but it started to become draining and frustrating so I have decided to start fresh.

If you’d like to stay up to date with new posts then head on over to the right hand side of the screen and enter your email under “Stay up to Date” to receive weekly updates. I blog twice week on Wednesday’s and Saturdays!

I hope you like the new look and find the navigation super easy. If you come across any errors, please let me know as I would greatly appreciate it.

All the best, and I will see you tomorrow at 9am.

Until next time,
