Get the look: Monica Rose

Oh Monica Rose,

If you don’t know who this stunning and forever stylish human being is than you must live under a rock. Monica is the worlds socially successful celebrity stylist.

I’ve had a crush on Monica for as long as instagram has been around, but it was only a couple of months ago had I learned who her clients where.

Her clients are celebrities that I always enjoy stalking on pinterest and instagram and to my surprise they are the top most watched A-listers. Can you guess who they are?

Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris Kardashian and Gigi Hadid just to name a few.

If you haven’t already, check out my previous “Get the Look” series which featured Gigi Hadid here.

The reason I love Monica’s style and have chosen to replicate one of her looks for todays “Get the Look” is because her style is always so effortlessly chic and simple yet still elevating and captivating.

Above is one of the looks that I think is very stylish and modest. If you want to add a bit more coverage than try wearing a bomber jacket or fitted blazer for a different look. I also find that this look is suitable for this chilly Autumn weather!

The above items are just under $200.00 – I don’t know about you but I think it’s a pretty reasonable price, if I do say so myself.

I decided to share two different types of the black midi length dress/shirt with double sided split because I just couldn’t choose between them. Get yours here and here.

Any jeans would work with this look but I did purposely try to search for a pair of jeans that had a rip at the knee like Monica’s. The hemline on Monica’s jeans has ripped detailing at the hem which you could easily do it yourself if you wanted to cut up the Lola Open Knee Fray Boyfriend Jeans from Boohoo.

The Brixton Wide Brim Straw Fedora Hat is from Asos for $114 which is a little pricey for a hat but I chose this one because it had stronger similiarites to the one Monica is wearing. However, Asos had similar ones for under $50.00.

Finally, I found these E-Street Lace Up Ballet flats from Cotton On for $10.00. If you don’t call that a bargain, than I don’t know what is.

What do you think of this look? What is your favourite Monica Rose outfit?

Thank you for reading,
