The best burkini on the market
Guys, I am so excited to be collaborating with Lyra Swimwear again and in case you missed it, see here for my previous collaboration with them in 2017.
I received soooooooooooooo many queries from my previous collaboration so it’s safe to say that it was a huge hit. When Lyra contacted me to collab again, I didn’t even hesitate. Not to mention, I was going to Bali as well and I just knew it would be perfect for a photoshoot AND my nephew (who took the photos from the last shoot) was going to Bali with us too. We honestly make the perfect team.
For this collab, I chose one of their new collections called Sofia Aztec. I really loved the aztec print on it and it was black as well and ya’ll know I love black haha. It’s basically the same style as my Sun Kissed Sailor pair and I’m still very much obsessed.
I am wearing a size small and I find that it fits true to size. I like to wear the leggings first followed by the body suit so the leggings don’t keep slipping off and unfortunately there is no padding for the chest ( i got asked a lot about this including what size I’m wearing) but if you wear a sports bra, it should give you better support and coverage.
I can’t wait for summer time to hit the beach wearing Lyra Swimwear again. It’s honestly the only reason why I’m looking forward to the hotter months in Australia.
Before I converted to Islam, I obviously use to wear bikini’s and all that and go sun tanning with my girlfriends at the beach or local pool. However, once I converted I didn’t have anything to wear to go swimming so I would just avoid it. My best friend wanted me to go with her to some hot springs thing in Melbourne with her once but I said no because I didn’t have anything to wear and refuse to wear anything unattractive haha. Whenever I’d go to the beach with my family or friends, I’d just sit out and watch everyone have fun in the water. But now that I found Lyra two years ago, I found my love for the water again and can join in on the fun while feeling stylish and comfortable.
