It’s been a while…

If you haven’t notice, I’m slowly but surely trying to get back into blogging again. I updated a few things on the website, added a new category called “Motherhood” in the hopes to branch out in that area of blogging.  Check out my most recent post “How to set up a cake smash under a budget” if you haven’t already. Don’t worry, I’m still staying true to my niche which is fashion.

So just a quick rundown on what has been going on in my life for the past year.

We moved into our own place in February. We moved into a cute and stylish little apartment in a suburb that’s 10 minutes away from our old place. I’m still not working and honestly, I’m starting to prefer to be a “stay at home mum” for a little while longer. I’m just not ready to leave Aleena at this stage. That’s not to say I haven’t been looking nor applied for work. I have and if I get it then great, I’ll go through with it. I’m actually considering on starting Arbonne for extra income but I’m still umm’ing and ah’ing about it. I’m hoping to reach 1000 subscribers on Youtube because then that means I could start earning an income through that.

Our wedding marathon has already commenced. We went to Bali twice, in June and July for a wedding and as I am typing up this post, we are due to fly out next week on Saturday for my best friend’s wedding which I am super excited about.

I’ve started youtubing again and I have been trying to smash out with new content for the gram as well. Idrus & I had a great conversation a couple months ago which I talked about in a previous youtube video here. It’s essentially all about taking instagram more seriously while I’m not working. I’ve noticed a huge increase in followers since I started to really be creative with my posts and outfits so I intend to keep that up.

Anyhoo, for now here are some pics we took while at Elizabeth Quay back in January. These are mostly just portraits but I love them so much. I’m wearing a top from Missguided which was hugely inspired by Sauf.etc. I didn’t want to wear the shirt with white jeans because I hate copying people but it was the only pair of jeans I had that went with the shirt at the time and I didn’t want to wear black jeans  because I wore black pants for so long while being pregnant. Haha so I just wanted a change.

I have so many outfit pictures to upload on the website so stay tuned and hopefully I can get back to blogging on a weekly basis.
