I’m so excited to share Bioderma’s new products
Last week, I had the pleasure of being invited to the Bioderma’s Cicabio and Photoderm Launch Event for breakfast which was being held at The Botanical in South Yarra. (Thank you Tarlie :P)
The event was to promote the incredible benefits and qualities of the new products that will be hitting the shelves fairly soon. However, I had the opportunity to try them out first hand and even learnt a few tips and tricks regarding how to create a natural and everyday make up look by Shella Martin. At the same time, she demonstrated how amazing the Photoderm BB Cream truly is and the best way to apply it.
Yi Chieh Tan who is the Bioderma Asia Pacific Trainer was very informative and captivating when explaining how the new products work, what the benefits are and so much more. I was very intrigued by both of the Cicabio products and found them to be a product that every household needs. It’s also great for young children and little bubs too.
Both of the Cicabio products are essentially helpful for soothing and repairing damaged skin however, the Cicabio Pommade ointment is suitable for severe skin damage were as the The Cicabio Creme is suitable for minor skin damage. I have yet to test these two products out as I don’t suffer from problematic skin, but I could try the Pommade ointment if I were to accidentally cut myself as I can be a little bit clumsy. I will definitely be getting Idrus to try the Creme as he does suffer from irritation and redness on his skin.
The Tinted BB Cream is what really won me over with it’s smooth like texture and light and dry finish. I haven’t tried it on my face, yet but I loved the feeling when I rubbed it on my hands whilst at the event. I have been meaning to replace my current BB cream as well and so this event couldn’t have come at a better time. I’ll need to give you a proper and detailed review once I’ve tested it out on my face for a week or so. I’m confident that I am going to love it and will replace the BB Cream that I am currently using.
The Bioderma BB cream is suitable for sensitive skin, has a high sun protection, moisturises and protects your skin leaving you with no shine and fluid texture. What more can you want in a BB cream?
In terms of the location, the launch event was held at an elegant restaurant called The Botanical. The Botanical incorporates the highest quality French and Mediterranean cuisine and is a great location for a night out with your friends or a special event. The interior in the Archer Room was absolutely stunning with high window ceiling and botanical vibes from the vertical garden.
I am really grateful for the invitation to this event as it was very informative and I was able to meet other Melbourne bloggers. The coffee at The Botanical was absolutely delicious but I’m kicking myself for not helping myself to some of the mouthwatering pastries. Stay tuned for my full review.
